Mai întâi i-am observat numele în aplicația care mă anunță de fiecare dată când unul dintre voi comandă un eBook. O amică pe care nu am mai văzut-o de ani de zile și cu care nu am mai vorbit tot de-atunci, pentru că anturajele noastre s-au schimbat cumva și ea a ajuns pe alt continent, unul departe, cu câteva oceane între noi. Am crezut că a rămas însărcinată, m-am bucurat tare că a luat cartea și i-am scris să îi mulțumesc din suflet. Nu era gravidă, cumpărase cartea pentru sora ei care va naște în curând, dar mi-a zis ceva care a rămas cu mine de atunci: ”Trebuie să ne susținem una pe alta”.

Mi s-a părut unul dintre cele mai frumoase lucruri pe care le-am auzit în ultima vreme.
Și m-am gândit la toți prietenii și cunoscuții mei, părinți sau nu, care au pornit afaceri cu forțele proprii și propriile mâini, care mi-au povestit cum cele mai multe gratuități le erau cerute… de propriii prieteni și cunoscuți. De care nu mai știau cum să scape. Am amice care lucrează în teatru și cărora li se cer încontinuu bilete gratis la spectacole. Foste colege din cinematografie cărora li se cer invitații la lansări, premiere sau pur și simplu bilete moca la cinema. Foști colegi care acum au crâșme, la care amicii vin și consideră că nici nu trebuie să plătească nota, ”ca doar suntem prieteni, dai și tu o bere, o cafea, nu?”. Fete care cos haine, jucării, perne, mame care au site-uri cu accesorii pentru copii, părinți care au deschis locuri de joacă în aer liber sau căsuțe pentru petrecerile copiilor, de la fiecare am auzit povești cu prieteni care vor să li se ofere servicii și produse gratis sau cu reducere, care pun presiune (poate unii dintre ei chiar fără să-și dea seama) sau care își dau ochii peste cap și se irită atunci când proprietarul afacerii îi refuză, ușor jenat.
Pe când lucram la emisiunea de film, de la Digi24, pierdusem șirul oamenilor care îmi cereau invitații la premiere. Câteodată le dădeam, când era vorba de vreun blockbuster de peste Ocean care oricum ar fi făcut niște vânzări colosale. La premierele filmelor românești sau la filmele străine aduse cu greu de case de distribuție mici trăgeam linie. Pentru că știam câtă muncă intră în distribuirea și promovarea lor și mi se părea ridicol când primeam o astfel de cerere – până la urmă, biletul niciodată nu costa mai mult de 15-20 de lei.
Ce voiam să vă spun, înainte să se trezească Mircea din somnul de prânz și să își aducă aminte că îl dor gingiile: dacă aveți prieteni, amici sau cunoștințe care tocmai au pornit o afacere pe cont propriu, mai ales dacă au copii mici și încearcă să miște munți în timp ce spală funduri mici, gătesc mâncare baby friendly și adorm zilnic cel puțin un toddler de prânz, dați-le o mână de ajutor, pentru că inevitabil trec prin momente intense și o să aprecieze gestul vostru din tot sufletul. Cumpărați bilet și mergeți la filmul pe care îl promovează sau la care au lucrat; duceți-vă să le faceți consumație în cafeneaua pe care tocmai au deschis-o; cumpărați cărți sau jucării din magazinul online pe care l-au pus pe picioare; comandați de la ei lumănări, farfurii, pălării, genți, bijuterii sau ce alte produse artizanale au început să comercializeze; cazați-vă în Airbnb-ul pe care l-au renovat.
Iar dacă nu aveți deocamdată bani să faceți asta (știu cum e să ai o perioadă care pare să nu se mai termine în care money is tight), faceți atunci un gest mic, dar care cântărește mult: nu le cereți acele lucruri pe gratis, doar pentru că sunteți prieteni. Lăsați-i pe ei să decidă dacă și când vă vor oferi ceva.
Trebuie să ne susținem unii pe alții.
